Coronary heart disease definition explains that the blood vessels present in human body carry oxygen and blood to reach the heart. If these blood vessels narrow then it is said to be called as coronary heart disease. Sometimes the plague and fatty material both build up on walls of arteries by making them narrow and this condition is said to be known as coronary heart disease. The plagues can cause a tiny clot in the coronary artery. Due to the stopage of blood flow to the heart the person may experience severe chest pain or heart attack which may at times lead to ultimate death. The various symptoms include tightening of the chest, burning sensation, feeling of heaviness in the chest or the person may experience pressure behind the arms or breast bone. Inorder to diagnose this disease the doctor performs various tests like lipid profile, blood sugar levels,ECG and coronary angiography. The treatment totally varies from person to person depending upon the severity. The person need to change his lifestyle and go for regular excercise along with medication.
